Mr Darcys are offering for sale, this stunning Wolseley 6/110 Mk2 Automatic.
The Wolseley 6/99 and 6/110 were the final large Wolseley cars. Styled by Pininfarina with additions by BMC staff stylists, the basic vehicle was also sold under two of BMC's other marques as the Austin A99 Westminster and Vanden Plas Princess 3-Litre. Production began in 1959 and the cars were updated and renamed for 1961. The Wolseley remained in production as the Wolseley 6/110 through to 1968.
This lovely lady has been subject to an extensive restoration by her previous owner. Although she looks black, she is indeed a very dark connaught green, with complimenting willow leather interior, and oceans of lovingly restored walnut. She drives beautifully with her powerful 6 cylender engine, and her Automatic box handles the power whilst enhancing the comfort and ride.An original UK car, she was imported to Ireland in 1999 under the registration DNT-133C. All clocks, dials, switches, and locks, are working as they should, and having had a new set of carpets fitted, she is pure luxury to sit in. She has her owners handbook, workshop manuals, and even has her original valet key. The mileage is low for a car of her age, and has had all her seals and gaskets replaced where required. The paintwork on the car is perfect, with little or no blemishes to talk of. Very good chrome compliments the paintwork, and she is indeed one of the finest we have had the pleasure of owning. There are extensive photographs on our website, but should you have any questions, please do not hesitate in calling us. We are located in Dublin, just 15 minutes from Dublin Airport, and transport can be arranged. Cars can be shipped overseas where required. Viewing is strictly by appointment.
