Mr D'arcys are offering for sale, this fully original Irish Humber Sceptre supplied by Huets of Mount Street in 1966.
Finished in Pipin red, with black vinyl interior, this is a very nice colour combination, and is very striking. This old girl carries a brown logbook and is a matching numbers car.
She has been very well cared for over the years, and her last owner has recently had extensive works completed comprising of a full engine rebuild, new clutch, radiator re core, battery, exhaust, all new shocks, ignition coil, plugs, points, air filter and oil change. Brake pipes were replaced and servo was fully reconditioned. The engine bay was fully detailed when the engine was removed and she also has a subtle battery cutoff fitted.
She has all original door cards, carpets, and seats are in perfect condition, with no rips or tears.
Everything is working as it should, and she shifts through the gears with ease. She comes with a fully functioning overdrive, and can sit at 120km on the motorway with ease.
Her lights, switches, dials, and original radio are all in perfect working order. Her original paintwork has a few blemishes, which is to be expected from a car that is 53 years old, but she has no rust, and the underneath is perfect.
Chromes are all good, with very little pitting to be seen. This is a very original car, and rare to find in this condition with an original Irish number plate.
We accept trade ins as always, and can deliver if required. Viewing by appointment please.
