Mr Darcys are offering for sale, this Mercedes that needs someone who is happy to do some bodywork, and finish up with a beautiful Mercedes. This original 1977, 85000 mile Merc comes with a full service history. The interior is immaculate. The engine, gearbox, brakes, and electrics are all good. It would be a shame to see her broken for parts, or used as a donor car. We took it as a trade in, with the intentions of doing the bodywork, but our panel guy has far too much on his plate, to take it before Christmas. This car could be used for the rest of the season, and the paintwork done over the winter. It will need welding and paintwork, but the 4 doors, boot, bonnet, and all chrome is good. She has a factory sunroof which works perfectly, and the roof and around the screens has no rust. These old Mercs are becoming hard to find, and this one is certainly worth a bit of time and effort. If it does not go to a good home, we will put it in storage and do the work over the winter. We will take a suitable trade in against it, but don't offer €1500 cash tomorrow, as it it wont even get a reply. It is priced to sell, and even though we would not normally sell cars in this condition, we feel that this has the potential to be a great car due to the overall condition, mileage, and history. We can deliver if required, but this old girl could drive to Cork, and not miss a beat.
